‘Put All The Hen In The Bag’: Hungry Robber With No Mask Refused Support At Pasadena Roscoe’s Hen & Waffles Returns With Gun

Police Thursday hunted an armed robber who designed off with “all the chicken” at the Pasadena Roscoe’s Rooster & Waffles following getting refused support simply because he wasn’t putting on a mask.

He evidently disregarded the famed eatery’s waffles and did not request any funds – just “all” the fried chicken that’s aided make the mini-chain well known.

In what would have been an strange scenario prior to the pandemic, the robber experienced earlier been refused services because he was not sporting a mask.

A cook identified only as Robert informed KCAL9, “He came again toward the kitchen area … pointing the gun at me … and quite considerably explained `Put all the chicken in the bag.”‘

The robbery transpired just after the suspect had been turned away from the restaurant for failing to put on a mask, according to ABC7. It wasn’t very clear if he was wearing a mask in the course of the theft.

The theft happened about 5:40 p.m. Wednesday at 830 N. Lake Ave., according to Lt. Monthly bill Grisafe with the Pasadena Law enforcement Section, who did not confirm the information of ABC7’s and KCAL9’s reports.

The hen-carrying robber took off from the restaurant ahead of law enforcement arrived, Grisafe claimed. No a single was injured, he explained.
