Rebel Wilson’s ‘Pooch Perfect’ Unleashes Accusations of Dog Abuse From Viewers

ABC’s new dog-grooming competition series hosted by Rebel Wilson, “Pooch Perfect,” is not sitting perfectly with specified viewers.

“You cannot encourage me puppies like remaining poked, minimize, bejeweled, and dressed up like this,” one Twitter user reported of the fairly serious pup-pageant sequence, which debuted on Tuesday.

“That present went from awww lovable to omg are these doggos ok to I’m traumatized authentic quick,” yet another wrote.

A third asked animal legal rights team PETA to “save these inadequate pet dogs from this nightmare.”

Well, PETA told TheWrap, in section: “Dogs are good, faithful people — they are not here for human amusement, and sadly, exhibits like ‘Pooch Perfect’ can persuade men and women to restrain their puppy and access for the dye.”

In advance of the collection launch, at the most recent Television Critics Association (TCA) press tour, Wilson, “Pooch Perfect” producers and the show’s judges had been asked about the dogs’ practical experience on the present.

I just observed a promo for an upcoming ABC show, “Pooch Ideal.” And, it hurts my heart. I have a lot of issues, but general it boils down to, how disappointed are people weak dogs heading through all that makeover things?!
