National Television Awards 2021: Ant and Dec nominated for Best Presenter gong for 20th year in a row

Ant and Dec have been nominated for the Best Presenter gong at the National Television Awards 2021, making it their 20th nomination in a row.

The presenting duo, both 45, will face off against Alison Hammond, Bradley Walsh, Holly Willoughby and Piers Morgan in the category.

Ant and Dec have scooped the award an impressive 19 times, taking home the gong every year since 2001, with the exception of 2009, when the ceremony did not take place.

The veteran Geordie presenters have won 41 NTAs in total.

Ant and Dec have yet to respond to the news of their milestone nomination on social media.

However, this is likely because they are currently ‘on a break’, with the pair announcing on Instagram ahead of Ant’s August 7 wedding to Anne-Marie Corbett that they would be ‘taking a bit of a break for a couple of weeks’, adding ‘but we’ll see you very soon!’.

Aside from their Best Presenter nod, Ant and Dec have three shows up for awards: Saturday Night Takeaway, I’m A Celebrity and Britain’s Got Talent.
