Spark Fest: Every Shiny Notion Commences with a Spark

Creative directors, performers, and writers from around the region have converged on the Close to Southside for Spark Fest. The annual month-very long celebration of creativeness has returned to Amphibian Phase (120 S Main St, Fort Worthy of, 817-923-3012) for 2021. North Texas comedic favorites will be joining her just about every evening, together with Scott Crisp (Thu and Fri), Hannah Howard (Thu and Sat), and Alvin Newsome (Fri and Sat). At 6:30pm Sat, see a set of new tunes and addresses by Middle Eye the 5 and T.H.A. B.A.N.D. The group’s identify is an acronym that stands for Having Human Action Mainly because We All Want Deliverance. (T.H.A. B.A.N.D. made its debut visual appeal in This Is My Tale, an Amphibian Phase movie venture.)

 

Streaming Activities

For these who want to continue to be household and feel artsy, there are two performances you can stream for free of charge at AmphibianStrage.com. This Is My Story presents the tales of three Black adult males from Fort Truly worth who were being requested the question, “When have you been silenced?” Odes for a Globe in Lookup of Joy was inspired by Pablo Neruda’s Odes to Typical Factors. Workshops
