Stolen Osseo large chicken statue uncovered

OSSEO (WQOW) – The now infamous situation of Osseo Relatives Restaurant’s stolen large chicken statue has appear to a shut. The rooster that flew the coop is returning to its roost.

Cafe operator Artan Shabani advised Information 18 on Friday that the rooster was located in Centerville, Minnesota.

Shabani states a human being, who wants to continue being anonymous, messaged him on Facebook, indicating they realized the statue’s whereabouts.

Shabani states the tipster was a friend of the thief, who allegedly was demonstrating off their criminal offense to a team of close friends. When the tipster caught wind of Shabani’s $1,000 reward for the statue’s secure return, they gave about what information and facts they had.

Shabani then shared this with the Osseo Police Division, who then worked with the Centerville Police to protected the statue. The tipster also claimed the reward.

On Wednesday, Shabani states he got affirmation from Centerville police that the statue was located. As of Friday, it’s nonetheless in possession of law enforcement.

Shabani says he still would not press charges in opposition to the thief if they haul the statue back to Osseo and set it again up. On the other hand, if Shabani has to go and get it himself, he says he will acquire lawful action.
