Of course, opening anything during the middle of the pandemic was a risky move. Rew says things were “A little rocky at first. Because we were opening in a Korean Grocery store, so people were expecting us to sell Korean Food, not just Fried Chicken. So it was a little rough at the start, but I think we’re starting to get a little more popular now.” He’s modest. With no advertising or marketing budget, the fledgling restaurant IS busy – just on word of mouth. “I think business is going pretty good, you know. It’s not super busy, but I think we’re getting busier by the month, and that kind of growth is good to see.”
