Jan. 25 (UPI) — An Arizona loved ones was reunited with their pet cat right after the feline expended virtually 5 months on the free in Oregon.
The McMillan family of Gilbert explained they took a journey to Oregon past summer and their cat, Lexi, obtained free at the Thielsen Forest Campground, about 6 miles from Diamond Lake.
The loved ones extended their journey by a working day to lookup for Lexi, but they sooner or later experienced to push household without the need of their pet.
Oregon Office of Transportation worker Chris Southwick said he and his coworkers noticed a cat on the unfastened in the vicinity of their routine maintenance facility in Lemolo, a handful of miles from the campground. In late November, he captured the feline.

Janice Quist, a volunteer at Preserving Grace, was already preparing a vacation to Shock, Ariz., about an hour from the McMillan home, and made available to deliver Lexie alongside for the experience.
Lexie was reunited with her loved ones this month.
“I acquired so fired up that I commenced crying,” Maxine McMillan, 10, stated of the reunion.
