In aid of the men and women of Afghanistan, Windmill is donating the box workplace money of the 7:30pm efficiency of Amphibian on Saturday 25 September, with proceeds remaining donated to Baba Mazari Foundation.
Produced by Windmill’s Affiliate Director Sasha Zahra and award-winning South Australian playwright Duncan Graham, Amphibian tells the tale of Chloe and Hassan, two pupils who are sent out of class below suspicion of thieving money when feeding the course axolotl. More than the program of the lesson, the audience hears two tales of displacement: a person from a lady who is discovering her toes in a new town, and just one from a young Afghan boy who has travelled alone, throughout land and sea, for a likelihood at a new everyday living.
